Hello, I’m Dr. Cekira Bush-Miguel, a dedicated licensed clinical social worker, psychotherapist, and Doctor of Education with more than a decade of experience in mental health. My mission is to help individuals, especially those from marginalized communities, overcome mental health challenges, build resilience, and achieve meaningful personal growth. I bring expertise in treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and PTSD, using evidence-based practices focused on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Therapy.

As a Black and Latina woman, my journey and identity fuel my commitment to providing culturally-informed therapy. I understand the specific hurdles faced by BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals, including intergenerational trauma, racial trauma, socioeconomic disparities, limited healthcare access, and cultural stigmas. These insights allow me to create a space where clients can heal and thrive, free from judgment or misunderstanding.
